Welcome to the U.S./Canada Border Blog
Greetings!
It’s exciting to provide information and stories about the dynamics of the United States/Canada border. Most of the information in this blog will focus on immigration issues facing Canadians and other foreign nationals entering the United States through Canada. This includes Ports of Entry from Blaine, Washington, to Calais, Maine, and in-between.
I have been practicing law since 1986 and focusing on immigration since 1992. Based in Buffalo, New York, with an office in Toronto, Serotte Law has distinctive insight to the many immigration issues facing Canadians entering the United States. Our experience ranges from NAFTA TN-1 work visas and L-1 intracompany transfers to E-1 and E-2 visa applications for employment-related immigration to to family-based immigration, particularly Canadians marrying Americans.
We also have extensive knowledge in dealing with border problems due to prior and pending criminal issues or past immigration violations. Add our experience with understanding consulate visa processing in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver and other U.S. consulates in Canada, and the U.S./Canada Border Blog will be able to provide particular insight and useful guidance to our readers.
